Shoot with Viv and Tok

Hey everyone, I wanted to show you all the look I did for my friend Viviann a few weeks back. It was shot by my friend Tokyo right here in my living room! I've been eyeing this Petra Collins' button down shirt and short set for some time now so this final gave the opportunity to do so.

Getting into the look, I discovered Petra Collins through SSENSE, not knowing she was already an established photographer. Her collection, "I'm Sorry by Petra Collins" includes lot of fun prints, mini skirts, sets, purple camouflage footwear and cool graphics much like shown with this look. The feel of this set was super silky and soft, with a cute blonde girl as the graphic with a bloody tongue. With the baby pink background on the top and shorts the look is able to remain sweet and playful.

Since the look is more dressed down I decided to pair it with these waffle Nike sneakers; the shades and colors coincide with the set. This soft pink was really the standout color of the look so I tried to highlight that with the sneakers. This shoe is sold out on most sites but you may be able to snag a pair on Goat at resell price.

The cool thing about this shoot was we were able to set up and accomplish everything right inside my apartment. We used lighting techniques, lollipop props and this cute tapestry from amazon to achieve this bubbly look on Viviann.

I even handmade this "I'm Sorry" beaded pearl necklace to pay node to the Petra Collins' brand.

This shoot was a big success and I'm exciting to bring you guys something new. Stay tuned for summer looks, trends and more shoots from yours truly!

Hey everyone, it's about that time where the men start showing some more skin and bring those legs out! Of course I had to do some looks with shorts for the fellas, and give them some summertime inspo. These looks will feature pieces from brands like Loewe, Issey Miyake, HBA, Balenciaga, Opening Ceremony and more. Look 1

Multi-Occasional

Look 1 is a twist of dressy yet casual making this a very versatile, multi-occasion look. I get a lot of my male inspiration looks from my male friends so they definitely inspired this look for me. Derby shoes are a great way to incorporate something other than sneakers in a look. These Namesake short/skort piece is a bold look for men, but my fashion forward men can definitely pull this look off! This Loewe hat pulls the look together making a complete accessorized fit.

Look 2

Orange You Glad to See This?

Issey Miyake tops are a much needed piece in mens' closets. These tops can be dressed up or down, paired with dress shoes or sneakers. For this look I wanted to make a bright and sunny look, pairing with some back Y3 sneakers. These Bloke shorts are super fun with prints and color, much like a lot of their pieces. Men, if you are looking for some color in your wardrobe Bloke is the brand to check out!

Look 3

'05 '06 Feels

This is definitely a favorite mens' look of mine! All white fits are some of my favorites; they're refreshing, clean and a nice monochromatic look. I paired this fit with the red Rick Owens' sneakers to add a bit of color and a silver Burlon bracelet to accessorize the look. This Random Identities oversized top is giving that '05, '06 feel which is definitely making its way back this year. This look is giving node to black Owned brand HBA, whose recently made a comeback with their pieces on SSENSE. I can definitely see Soulja Boy in this look! What do you all think?

Look 4

Pink Monochrome

For my men who take risks with color, specifically pink this look's for you! This Balenciaga hoodie and Opening Ceremony shorts paired so nicely together as if the pieces were meant for each other (which clearly they were). Pink on men, specifically darker skin tone looks so refreshing and bright which I love; more men need to take risks with pink! The Owens tone the look down a bit but still tie in the pink look.

Look 5

Summer Blues

Look 5 features another fit with Bloke graphic shorts. This soft, pale baby blue is a great color for spring/summer that I see being very popular for the season. It looks great on men and women and is a great substitute for your primal blue. These Nike sneakers are a great piece for the closet and great white sneaker for the season.

Look 6

Color me Blue

For look 5 we wrap these fits up with this look featuring We11done, Wacko Maria and more. The Wacko Maria Cheech and Chong graphic shorts are such a versatile piece that can be worn with tons of different colors. For this look I chose to use blue as my prominent color and accessorize it with this blue Loewe eyeglass strap to tie the look together.

Miniskirt Madness Lookbook

Hey hey! Summer will soon be summering so now's the perfect time to do some looks featuring miniskirts, a classic summer piece! I love miniskirts for mainly two reasons: the sexiness and variety of styles you can achieve with them. With these looks I'll show you some options for achieving the perfect summer looks!


Look 1

Purples & Patterns

Look 1 is all about prints and color. I am absolutely in love with this Marc Jacob skirt, and thought it'd be cool to mx it with these Petra Collins' boots, another fun, purple camo print. This soft purple Acne button down is the perfect top to elevate the look and didn't throw off the vibe of the look. Topping it off with this cute JW bag, this look is amazing for spring!

Look 2

Giving Laura Croft

For look 2 I wanted to keep it monochromatic with an all black, bad-ass look. The heel on these Eytys boots are amazinggg! They're the perfect vibe to bring out that edgy, emo look. Adding to that, If you're looking for a emo, ninja-esque style brand Hyein Seo is perfect for that which is why I chose this skirt. I love the sexiness of this look, with the sheer fitted Hove top. Top it off with a small dainty necklace and we have the perfect Laura Croft fit. 🖤

Look 3

Neutral Pu$$y

Look 3 is all about nudes! I love how taupe/beige meshes so well this soft blue silk skirt. This look is perfection to me! Charlotte Knowles recent line has also been coming out with some amazing pieces, and these boots are one of them! Look at the material, the browns, the floral decal! Such a sexy feminine boot. This mini skirt is another great piece for the spring/summer; Ashley Williams is slowly becoming one of my faves!! Getting into the top, Bell has created a piece with silhouette, sexiness, fabrication and cut all in one. I'm a huge fan! This fit definitely needs to be recreated and I have to get my hands on this skirt!

Look 4

Gal Meets Glam

Because I love these Petra boots so much I wanted to use them again in another look. I find this look very playful and feminine with pops of pinks, shimmer and shine. It's girly meets glam! Again we have another Ashley Williams' piece which ended up working well with this Poster Grl skirt. Both the shirt and skirt involve pink with points of silver so the pairing was automatic yes for me!

Look 5

Sunny Daze

This look is giving me major Cali vibes! I wanted to make all the accessories yellow to really make this look pop. The yellow detail is just enough color to really pull this look together. This Petra set is also at a really good price, as well as these Paloma Wool shoes! There just so happened to be a matching bag so I knew to automatically pair these together! This a great vacation look with the girls! 💃

Look 6

Pop of Colors

Look 4 is very crisp and clean for the season. It starts giving you tennis vibes then we bring in this Marine Serre balaclava to spice things up. I paired the look with these Strada sneakers to add in more color and I instantly knew the Serre accessory would really take things to the next level. It works as a mask, too. We love a multipurpose yet fashion forward accessory!

Miniskirts are definitely something you'll need for the season so stock up, get at least 3-4 to really add some variety to your closet! Like mentioned they pair soo well with some thigh high boots, tennis shoes, ankle boots, platforms/flatforms and more.
