Hey guys! I haven't done a look book in a while so I've decided to create one for you all today! We are now in the midst of summer with August not too far away, which is PRIME vacay and baecae time! I thought I'd make some vacation inspired looks for the men and women to give you all some inspiration on what to wear for those nights out on the beach, sightseeing, date night, brunch with the gang and more. July is definitely one of the better months of the year with all the activities involved, but this summer we've been getting a lot of rain so now's the perfect time to get away and breathe in some new air!

Look 1: Brunch Vibes 🧡

Womens' Deets: Set by OMighty, Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell, Tube Top: BP

Mens' Deets: Top&Shorts: Stussy, Shoes: Maison Margiela, Necklace: Numbering

These looks are meant out for a day (or night) out with your gal friends/ guy friends while on vacation. For the women I wanted to add some color to the color with pops of orange, and an option to wear the look without the jacket (since it may be too hot on vacay). I've had my eye on this Omighty set and it's absolutely the perfect summer vibe! The orange Telfar bag would also look super cute with this!!

The men's look is super laidback with these coloful Stussy shorts and bright orange Replica shoes. The hat adds more detail to the simple look and adds another pattern to coincide with the shorts. Both looks are meant to where with your crew, or could even work together for a date.

Look 2: Cuffed Up 🙃

Women's Deets: Dress: Saks Potts, Bag: MM6, Shoes: Flat Apartment

Mens' Deets: Top&Shorts: Telfar, Hat: Double Rainbouu, Shoes: Diesel, Socks: Paul Smith

For look 2 I created some coordinated looks for the guy and gal who wanna take some cute vacay pics before they step out for dinner. I used blue to bring these two together and add a sense of unity to the couple. This Saks Potts dress will really shimmer in the sun and that iridescent blue will really reflect off of her mate's color scheme. I would totally wear this look with my man on vacay and make sure we had someone around to get these looks on camera!

Look 3: Oh, What A Site to See 🤎

Womens' Deets: Top: TheOpen Product, Shorts: Gil Rodriguez, Shoes: Yeezy, Reversible Hat: Ader Error

Mens' Deets: Shirt: BBC, Shorts: Bloke, Shoes: Yeezy, Scarf: Takahiromiyashita TheSoloist

Look 3 is all about playing with brown and neutral shades. One of my favorite colors on black men and women is brown; to me the color really compliments our melanin and can almost never go wrong! I wanted to make these looks comfortable yet stylist, for those vacay days when you may be outdoors all day sightseeing, climbing, being active, museum exploration and more. My favorite part of this women's look is definitely the reversible Ader Error hat. For this look in particular in can be worn on each side to mesh with this brown palette look. For the men's look my favorite part is this patterned brown Takahiromiyashita scarf. I see this being worn as a Babushka to cover you from the sun, and also just for some extra flare. I needed one more detail to complete this look and that was definitely it! It coordinates so well with the Yeezy foam runners, too which I love. 🤎

Look 4: Group Pics☯️

Womens' Deets: Dress: Helmut Lang, Shoes: Alyx, Necklace& Earrings: Justine Clenquet

Mens' Deets: Top: CDG Shirt, Bottoms: Random Identities, Shoes: MISBHV, Sunglasses; Grey Ant

For look 4 I wanted to some opposing color looks for the ladies n gents. These looks work really well separately or together, whether it be for a group look with all the ladies, or a group night pic with the fellas, it works. There's also a sense of class and taste to each look which I love. I am absolutely in love with this Lang dress and Alyx heel pairing. The ruching on this dress mixed with the croc-embossed material on the heel is chef's kiss💋. If clothes and shoes could be soulmates, this would be the match! For this men's look white is always a great choice for them on vacay. It's easy to style and an all white look in the islands is just the right thing to do! I love these Random Identities trousers for men; it's definitely a good basic piece for your closet that can be used in many different ways. These MISBHV loafers brought everything together and really completed this classic crisp look.

I hope you all love these vacay inspired looks I created; it's definitely that time of the year to explore with your friends, bf/gf, sneaky link or whoever it may be! These looks will definitely be show stoppers and great ways to add some spice to your trip! Talk soon guys, thanks for tuning in!

Hey ladies and gents! I'm back with another segment of #IfIWas and this time we're curating some looks for the City Girls! Again I chose 3 looks each for Caresha and JT based off their personal style and of course, my own personal touch! Let me know what you all think 😊

Look 1: Red Carpet (Caresha Left, JT Right)

Looks found on SSENSE

Since the two are a duo, I wanted to create a look with opposing colors, yet still being cohesive looks for these ladies. I put Caresha in this beautiful ruched Jacquemus dress with these bubblegum pink accessories. For JT I used the opposing color white with all neutral toned accessories. These looks work great for the red carpet and in any pics the duo take together!

Look 2: Music Video (JT Left, Caresha Right)

Looks found on SSENSE

For this music video look I wanted to use animal print for the girls, one with brown tones and the other black. This dark brown look would look beautiful on JT's brown skin, along with these Bottega knitted heels. For Caresha's look, I used this Maryam Nassir top and Cormio skirt to pair with these chunky Nodaleto heels. I can definitely see these two rapping in these looks; each look works really well with the other!

Look 3: Concert (Caresha Left, JT Right)

Looks found on SSENSE

For the concert looks I wanted to do a colorful look for the girls and still bring that sense of duality to the equation. The girls love wearing tight, form fitting looks so I found these really bright beaded biker shorts by Marshall Columbia. Pink and Orange work super well otgether and pair nicely with this cut out Rui top, another favorite brand of mine! Since Caresha's look uses orange I wanted to incorporate that into JT's look somehow, so I used orange to accessorize. A strappy heel to top it off, and boom... there you have it!

If you could see the City Girls in these looks lmk below! Thanks for tuning in 😉

Hey guys! I'm here today to introduce a new styling concept to my blog called #IfIWas. IfIWas will basically be me picking different celebrities and creating 3 looks for them based off their personality and personal style. A lot of celebrities (in my opinion) could be doing a lot more with their look to really stand a part from others, but I understand that not everyone will be super interested in fashion! Most only care about showing off the label but I'd love to showcase beautiful, more subtle designs that create a name for themselves!

To start off this #IfIWas feature, I'm gonna start with Megan Thee Stallion. As a successful female rapper and captain of Hot Girl Summer, my girl is known for short simple dresses and clothing that tightly hugs her body. To me it could be carried out with a bit more effort yet still be sexy! Yes people, it IS possible to show off your beautiful bodyodyody and still make a fashion statement! With that being said, below I've created 3 looks to show you how I'd style Megan for a performance, red carpet and music video. Let me know what you think and if you can see Thee Stallion in these looks!

Look 1: Performance (5,6,7,8!)

(Full Look on SSENSE)

ree
Hood By Air, Rui, Rick Owens, Ashley Williams, Fleet Ilya

Look 1 is a performance look I would style Meg in. To me it's comfortable, sexy, flexible and definitely something Meg would wear. This HBA miniskirt is super detailed and sexy enough for Meg to wear while providing a designer touch to her look. I wanted her shoes to be comfortable for choreography and easy flexibility while still serving a look for the crowd. The Rui top adds a feminine touch to this look paired with the knife shaped Williams earring. The bracelet cuffs were the last touch to add more detail giving a Laura Croft feel to the look.

Look 2: Ravishing on the Red Carpet

(Full Look on SSENSE)

ree
Maison Margiela, Bottega Veneta, Isabel Marant, Simone Rocha

Look 2 is a runway red carpet look that I would style Meg in. Because I don't want to change her aesthetic or vibe of what she wears I used a dress that's revealing yet still full coverage; yes that's definitely an oxymoron but I promise you in this case it works! This Margiela dress is stunning with its silk and mesh detail, pairing well with these netted Bottega heels. I kept all the accessories black with this Simone Rocha bag and Marant earrings which add some dramatics to the look.

Look 3: Music Video

(Full Outfit on SSENSE)

ree
Louisa Ballou, Bottega Veneta, Amina Mauddi, Vetements

As we're all aware Meg tends to show lots of skin with her outfits and sometimes I think it's not executed in the most flattering way for her body! With this Louisa dress we're still highlighting those curves with these sexy cutouts and mini dress, while doing so in a fashion forward way. The gold circle hardware gives more exposure and detail to the look. Paired with blue heels, Vetement earrings and Bottega padded bag, we're able to give Megan a super sexy look with beautiful gold accents to tie the look together.

These looks were super fun to make and helped me prep for when I'm working with high end clients foreal! Do you think Meg would be down for these looks? Let me know guys! Talk soon
