WOMEN'S LOOKS
Hey guys, I decided to do an orange color palette today, incorporating some really beautiful and intricate tops from a brand I discovered called Rui. There tops and bodysuits are super sexy and feminine, often including huge cutouts and pearl straps. I love both of those things so I really wanted to focus on this brand while still sticking to that orange palette. Let me know what you guys think.
Pants: Henrik Vibskov $245
Look 1's colors play so nicely off one another. The cream is so pretty with these spring time shades of sea foam green and burnt orange. The Marni buckle shoes and the off white bucket hat are such a perfect mix with this top and pant.
Pants: Heron Preston $540
Hairpin: Ashley Williams $150
Necklace: Heron Preston $135
For look 2 I wanted to go more street style orinted which is why I paired it with the Nike Af1. I originally paired the fit with silver Tabi's but wanted to stick to the more casual side. I kept all the accessories silver to match the straps on the top and button detail in the Preston pant.
Look 3 is super sexy and feminine; definitely one of my fave looks from this palette. The one arm glove with this top and skirt is the perfect accessory to take this fit to the next level. I love the pearls incorporated on the Rui items which is why I chose these pearl earrings from Asos to tie everything in. This strappy flip flop heel adds more sexiness to the overall look, I love this! It's giving me a vacation vibe or brunch date with the gf's.
Look 4 is totally my style. I love pairing black with another color. It's so simple but adds a little edge and mystery to the fit. These botts by Nodaleto are literally one of my faqvprite items right now. I need a pair!! They also come in red and white which are super hot as well. This cut out and irregular shaped bodysuit is so sexy and pairs so well with the boots. The Marni hat is over the top and adds such a cute vibe to the overall look. This chained Kara bag really sets the tone, bringing in that badass yet sexy look.
Heels: Kiko Kostadinov $240
Earrings: Completedworks $395
Y'all, look 5!! Every piece in this look plays off each other so well. These heels are probably my favorite part of the look, and they price point isn't horrible. I really love how they have this flower like detail in the center yet still have a sporty look to them with the orange and black strap. Overall, I'm in awe. This look is super feminine and elegant. This blue shade is so pretty; the blue and orange combo here is really something special. I love how the top is see through so the nipples are saying hello! Love that for the girls. Again, I used a pearl earring to add to the pearl straps and also the daintiness of the heel. This look for me is 10/10.
MEN'S LOOKS
For the men's looks I wanted to focus on a specific brand for tops, that being Ader error. This brand has some really nice shades of cream, blue and orange with some really good price points. I also felt their shades and color work well with my orange palette.
Now onto men's looks, I wanted this look to comfy but still have that fashion essence to it. Here you have lose fit top and pants. and a cozy shoe to bring that vibe together. I added this lemon-y durag to also add to the casual vibe of this look. The use of orange and yellow really worked well together here.
Sweater Vest: Ader error $310
Look 2 is definitely completely different from look 1. This fit is classic and perfect for any man looking to add a more gentlemen feel to his closet. These Telfar loafers are the perfect brown and are a great shoe to have in the closet. These fall shades all combine very well together giving you the perfect fall palette. The use of this mint in the deconstructed vest and undershirt are really light and soft, being a perfect pairing date look for women's look 1.
Shoes: Maison Margiela $495
Look 3 is calm with very small detail. I did that because of the amount of clothing used in the vest and hoodie. I imagine this vest over the hoodie so there's really no need for a necklace or hat (we have enough detail up top). These Wel11done embroidered pants have a lot of hidden detail that I really love. The use of the brand's logo all over the front and back of the pant was just enough detail for this fit to stand out.
Look 4 for men's is probably my favorite. I think the overall look plays off each piece very well. I love the use of cream and orange, they're destined for eachother! This pop of green in the shoe adds just the right amount of color, also tying in the color in the middle of the Ader top. I love the loose fit Undercover pant and think they work perfectly with this look. If I had a lil boo thang I'd definitely style him in this look! I also love a man in a bucket hat so I'm a little bias (lol!)
Vest Top: Ader error $310
Pants: Dries van Noten $550
Ring: Vivienne Westwood $150
Shoes: Heron Preston $735
Onto our last look, I think these colors look so nice together. I was hesitant to pair black with this brown vest because I personally think it's hard to sometimes create a cohesive look with these colors. But adding the Preston boot really helped tie this look together. I added the Westwood ring to add juusssst a small amount of detail because the fit really doesn't need too much. I love hearts so I specifically picked this one! Also these Dries pants are so beautiful, yes I'm calling men's pants beautiful! The color, the flower like print, the cream-white... so so pretty! Any man who can pull these off got it!
