Hey guys. I wanted to post some pics of a shoot I recently did this past Saturday, 10/17. I shot with my close friend Rachel, with an amazing photographer, Dev. My vision for the shoot was a day out in the city, grabbing some coffee and just some girl time. I wanted the fits to be cohesive with one another, so I added certain touches like the head scarves and light blue shade in both looks.

We started off the shoot in a coffee shop in LES called Black Cat. The people who worked there were so nice, providing amaaazing hospitality. For the coffee they even put some extra whip cream and made it look super cute. It was the perfect place to shoot.

I also wanted to do some cute newspaper shots which Dev captured so well. She really created some beautiful pictures!!

In terms of a styling break down, my fit is as follows:

Top: Maison Margiela / Yoox.com

Bottoms: Saks Potts / SSENSE.com

Heels: Public Desire

Purse: Second Street

Headwrap: Amazon

Rachel's fit:

Dress: Burberry

Bag: Fendi

Gloves: Amazon

Boots: Asos.com

This shoot really met my expectations + then some... check out my IG for the post and also @thehumanbeean for her work; she's super talented and captures some beautiful images!! Thanks for tuning in ladies n gents :)

WOMEN'S LOOKS

Hey guys, I decided to do an orange color palette today, incorporating some really beautiful and intricate tops from a brand I discovered called Rui. There tops and bodysuits are super sexy and feminine, often including huge cutouts and pearl straps. I love both of those things so I really wanted to focus on this brand while still sticking to that orange palette. Let me know what you guys think.

Look 1

Top: Rui $335

Pants: Henrik Vibskov $245

Shoes: Marni $760

Hat: Asos $23

Look 1's colors play so nicely off one another. The cream is so pretty with these spring time shades of sea foam green and burnt orange. The Marni buckle shoes and the off white bucket hat are such a perfect mix with this top and pant.

Look 2

Top: Rui $375

Pants: Heron Preston $540

Shoes: Nike $195

Hairpin: Ashley Williams $150

Necklace: Heron Preston $135

For look 2 I wanted to go more street style orinted which is why I paired it with the Nike Af1. I originally paired the fit with silver Tabi's but wanted to stick to the more casual side. I kept all the accessories silver to match the straps on the top and button detail in the Preston pant.

Look 3

Top: Rui $275

Skirt: Y/Project $825

Shoes: Marni $890

Glove Sleeve: Rui $200

Earrings: Asos $7.10

Look 3 is super sexy and feminine; definitely one of my fave looks from this palette. The one arm glove with this top and skirt is the perfect accessory to take this fit to the next level. I love the pearls incorporated on the Rui items which is why I chose these pearl earrings from Asos to tie everything in. This strappy flip flop heel adds more sexiness to the overall look, I love this! It's giving me a vacation vibe or brunch date with the gf's.

Look 4

Top: Rui $495

Pants: MM6 $540

Shoes: Nodaleto $245

Bag: Kara $450

Hat: Marni $890

Look 4 is totally my style. I love pairing black with another color. It's so simple but adds a little edge and mystery to the fit. These botts by Nodaleto are literally one of my faqvprite items right now. I need a pair!! They also come in red and white which are super hot as well. This cut out and irregular shaped bodysuit is so sexy and pairs so well with the boots. The Marni hat is over the top and adds such a cute vibe to the overall look. This chained Kara bag really sets the tone, bringing in that badass yet sexy look.

Look 5

Top: Rui $335

Skirt: Maisie Wilen $520

Heels: Kiko Kostadinov $240

Bag: Simon Miller $290

Earrings: Completedworks $395

Y'all, look 5!! Every piece in this look plays off each other so well. These heels are probably my favorite part of the look, and they price point isn't horrible. I really love how they have this flower like detail in the center yet still have a sporty look to them with the orange and black strap. Overall, I'm in awe. This look is super feminine and elegant. This blue shade is so pretty; the blue and orange combo here is really something special. I love how the top is see through so the nipples are saying hello! Love that for the girls. Again, I used a pearl earring to add to the pearl straps and also the daintiness of the heel. This look for me is 10/10.

MEN'S LOOKS

For the men's looks I wanted to focus on a specific brand for tops, that being Ader error. This brand has some really nice shades of cream, blue and orange with some really good price points. I also felt their shades and color work well with my orange palette.

Look 1

Hoodie: Ader error $295

Pants: Etudes $425

Shoes: Suicoke $270

Durag: Phlemuns $50

Now onto men's looks, I wanted this look to comfy but still have that fashion essence to it. Here you have lose fit top and pants. and a cozy shoe to bring that vibe together. I added this lemon-y durag to also add to the casual vibe of this look. The use of orange and yellow really worked well together here.

Look 2

Sweater Vest: Ader error $310

Button down: Asos

Pants: Doppiaa $290

Shoes: Telfar $505

Look 2 is definitely completely different from look 1. This fit is classic and perfect for any man looking to add a more gentlemen feel to his closet. These Telfar loafers are the perfect brown and are a great shoe to have in the closet. These fall shades all combine very well together giving you the perfect fall palette. The use of this mint in the deconstructed vest and undershirt are really light and soft, being a perfect pairing date look for women's look 1.

Look 3

Sweater: Ader error $375

Hoodie: Ader error $295

Pants: We11done $490

Shoes: Maison Margiela $495

Look 3 is calm with very small detail. I did that because of the amount of clothing used in the vest and hoodie. I imagine this vest over the hoodie so there's really no need for a necklace or hat (we have enough detail up top). These Wel11done embroidered pants have a lot of hidden detail that I really love. The use of the brand's logo all over the front and back of the pant was just enough detail for this fit to stand out.

Look 4

Top: Ader error $415

Pants: Undercover $680

Hat: Nike $30

Sneakers: Off-White $795

Look 4 for men's is probably my favorite. I think the overall look plays off each piece very well. I love the use of cream and orange, they're destined for eachother! This pop of green in the shoe adds just the right amount of color, also tying in the color in the middle of the Ader top. I love the loose fit Undercover pant and think they work perfectly with this look. If I had a lil boo thang I'd definitely style him in this look! I also love a man in a bucket hat so I'm a little bias (lol!)

Look 5

Vest Top: Ader error $310

Sweater: Hugo $165

Pants: Dries van Noten $550

Ring: Vivienne Westwood $150

Shoes: Heron Preston $735

Onto our last look, I think these colors look so nice together. I was hesitant to pair black with this brown vest because I personally think it's hard to sometimes create a cohesive look with these colors. But adding the Preston boot really helped tie this look together. I added the Westwood ring to add juusssst a small amount of detail because the fit really doesn't need too much. I love hearts so I specifically picked this one! Also these Dries pants are so beautiful, yes I'm calling men's pants beautiful! The color, the flower like print, the cream-white... so so pretty! Any man who can pull these off got it!

Hey guys, for this yellow palette I decided to switch it up and create looks based off one item. I used a pair of pants from S.R Studio La. Ca. for the womens' looks and a top from them for the men's. I wanted to give my take on 3 completely different looks and let you guys decide which one you like best. Let me know what you think!

WOMEN'S LOOKS

Look 1

Top: Rui $335

Bag: BY FAR $395

Necklace: Justine Clenquet $85

Shoes: Gucci $1065

For look 1 I went for "classy-grunge." I added the pearl concept mixed with silver chains to add to that look. The pearls on this Rui shirt are very subtle yet add sexiness to this fit. To accent the pearl top I added these Gucci shoes with pearls and this Clenquet necklace, which is half pearl half chain. The mix of red yellow and black is a combination I didn't know I needed but actually meshed really well!

Look 2

Hoodie: We11done $530

Bag: Coperni $665

Shoes: Gucci $320

For look 2 I made the look a bit more toned down with this We11done hoodie while adding a girlier take on it with the Gucci platforms. This Coperni bag is the perfect accessory to add even more detail while still sticking to the yellow script. This look is the epitome of comfy yet cute!

Look 3

Top: Gauge81 $190

Bag: BY FAR $530

Shoes: Maryam Nassir Zadeh $890

Look 3 is very sexy to me. These Zadeh boots are so pretty and could be worn so many different ways. The white silk top in this instance adds more sensuality to the fit which I love. Also, the pearl mustard earrings and bag accent these boots beautifully! A straight middle part, slick down hair would be perfect for this look. (A long silk dress or jean shorts and a tee would be a fire look as well.)

MEN'S LOOKS

$675

Look 1

Pants: KeenKee $370

Bag: S.r Studio $750

Sneakers: Bape $295

Sunglasses: Versace $295

For look 1 I made this a very fly boy fit. I wanted to bring the green out in the Bape sneakers so I added these lime green shades to the look. The light purple hue on the trousers doesn't pop out at you but still adds slight color to the overall look. Greens, yellows, purples, blue hues all in one fit... how can you not love it?!

Look 2

Pants: Xander Zhou $365

Bag: S.r Studio $695

Shoes: Converse $70

Look 2 was a bit more calm compared to the first. I love the black pant and black tote combination for this. The Converse keep the look level headed while meshing very well with the Zhou denim. I love the detail in these pants, almost having a lightning bolt effect yet not clashing with the tye-dye design in the top.

Look 3

Pants: Helmut Lang $395

Bag: S.r Studio $995

Shoes: Balenciaga $950

For look 3 I went a bit more red oriented, sort of like look 1 in my women's look. There's honestly so much color to work with but red really stood out to me. I was nervous about mixing khaki and yellow together, being that they're close in color range but this red detail in the Lang pants worked out nicely. I added the Balenciaga boot to bring out more red and bring everything together. For all the looks I used a different bag from S.r Studio, and this one specifically really tied in that red color scheme.
