Hey everyone!! I'm back to show you all some recent styling work of mine with my roommate @_.mark.conti as the photographer and our muses @3.16pm & @readynelly. Let me just say this has definitely been my favorite shoot thus far and the momentum is only continuing from here. I'm soo so happy with how these photos came out; literally perfection! We had over 800 pictures to choose from and it was not easy to decide at all! These ladies looked amazing, really. I somehow managed to narrow it down to about 30 pics and want to show you all some of my faves. Mark used his knowledge of color, lighting and photography skills to really make this shoot over the top! Of course you can find some of these images on my Instagram @sanauvanique, but since we had so many gems I wanted to show you a bit more of the magic we created. With that being said, take a look at the amazing moments we captured!!

First up I'm gonna start with Nelly's looks, which features a dress from my friend @wynell__. It's a black woman owned brand called @pompey.nyc, which features sexy pieces with form fitting material and most importantly, breathable material.

As you can see the dress is for my ladies who wanna show a lil skin yet still be able to style this dress to their liking. For me I added these cobalt blue, long satin gloves and the MISBHV beret hat. This definitely completed Nelly's look and these colors looked so good on her skin! (Links to clothing will be tagged below).

The hair and the beret made a great pairing and I couldn't be more happy with how this outfit came out! We even got this cool silhouette shot which came out beautifully!

If you're looking for small business black owned brands definitely check out Pompey NYC! I personally tried the dress on and it fits like a glove, yet I didn't feel suffocated in the dress. And if you want to look absolutely stunning, why would you not?!

Moving onto Deja's look we're getting into some real summertime shades. I wanted to do a look that complimented Nelly's outfit colors for when we did duo shots, so I chose blue, green and black to bring these looks together.

I had a fun time putting this look together because of all the color! If you know me you know I love playing with and mixing colors. This Louisa Ballou skirt came with a matching top but I like to switch things up and make my own outfit; it's more fun anyway! The Petra Collins' top brought out that lime green in the skirt and green in the bucket hat. Deja's full look (excluding shoes) can be found on SSENSE.

The skirt, shirt and hat go so well together, the girlies definitely need this look for vacay, brunch or whatever you're feelin'!

One of the standouts of this look was definitely the hat. Fun fact: it's actually meant to be a swimming hat which is cool! Once I saw it I knew it'd be perfect for her look. Deja killed this and she's been receiving so much love through Twitter about it so I'm super excited!

For the duo shots we got some good ones and these ladies complimented each other so well!

This pic is definitely my favorite out of all 800+ (lol). Mark recommended we crop the photo to just show the thighs up and that made all the difference. This pic is so clean and really shows you a close up of these looks. Literally perfection in my eyes! Not to mention these ladies had no makeup on and look flawless! WOW

Like I said this is my favorite shoot thus far and I'm only going up from here! Be sure to stay tuned to my Instagram and blog to see what I have in store for the summer! I hope you all loved this shoot as much as I did and found some summer fitspo for your future outfits!

I had so much fun on set, and Mark and I worked really hard to make sure this shoot was perfect! I'm excited to show you guys all I can do and how my journey of becoming a well-rounded stylist. More to come, thank you all for tuning in!
