lookswithnique: Purple Hues

Hey yall! I'm doing another men's and women's color palette for you guys and decided today's color will be purple. I really really love every look in this palette; there were so many good options of clothing to choose from, especially men's so I had a lot of fun with that. As always let me know what you guys love and hate! I'm all ears.

For look 1 I really loved the mix of colors in this. These Helmut Lang pants are so fire; definitely one of my favorite designers. The use of orange, purple and brown was a mix I didn't know I needed but ended up loving. The orange in the sunglasses tie in the pants, orange wraparound on the shirt and the brown sole of the boots. I love good detail.

For look 2 I am absolutely in love with this sweater. This use of ombre from white to purple is so pretty for a men's turtleneck. I feel like it can definitely be a unisex top (even though all clothing is truly unisex). I kept everything else black since the turtleneck is a statement in itself.

Look 3 is pretty calm. I can see this look for a night out with the bros, a park date, something calm ya know. It's a pretty simple fit, but I love a man in purple!

For this fit I kept the accessories pretty simple since this turtleneck is such a pop. I loveee this look a lot. I stuck with a white shoe because of all the color in the top and pants. This look is giving me museum outing or shopping in Soho vibes. I can also see this fit with a grey beany too, if you wanted to add just a little more to the look.

Ok so I don't even know what this look is giving me but each piece just worked well together. This Balenciaga chain is fire; I love how it actually spells out Balenciaga throughout the necklace. The silver plus purple combo in this look meshed so well together. Something about this fit is really a big vibe for me. My favorite looks are between look 1 and look 5. I really like this one though, how bout yall?

So onto women's looks, I wanted to do a different vibe for each look. So for this first one it was giving me gym vibes or a quick Target run with subtle flex. I wanted to do a calm cozy fit that still had a level of fabulousness to it. The grey Gucci watch mixed with the other grey tones is such a cute look. I definitely would wear tf out this fit.

Look 2 is definitely grown woman vibes. This pop of orange in the Veneta bag is what did it for me. I felt it needed some more color so this was the perfect pop of color. This look is totally different from look 1 which was the idea!

Look 3 is by far my favorite. It's giving me sexy goth vibes. I may definitely have to recreate this look because it's definitely me. This sexy Mugler bodysuit mixed with the silky skirt and chunky heel is the perfect balance of sex appeal yet conservative (I mean, not really conservative but a long skirt kind of helps)! Adding the skull detail really set the vibe for me. The jewelry and shoe combo is so pretty and dark. The more I look at it, I really want this entire fit!! Topping it off with the Palm hat brought the look down to a casual level yet still alluring to whoever you may pass by. Definitely top 1 for me!

Ottolinger is a brand I just recently came across over quarantine and it's grown on me so much. There patterns and shapes in clothing is so unique. The cut of this dress (from the waist down) gives a sexy fit yet still flattering. The white hanging on the sides is another detail that adds to this look. I kept the shoe and bag simple since there's so much color and pattern in the dress. These Toga Pulla shoes add just the right amount of detail overall. Their shoes go crazy; I need at least 3 pair! Look 5 is super cozy, just getting into fall vibes. Hoodie and shorts combo is perfect for those warm days cold nights. I really love this fit as well and can see it on men and women. There's a lot of purple going on here but it's not overwhelming. This is probably my second favorite women's look.
