Hey guys, I know I've been away (in my Brent voice) but I'm back and ready to bring you guys some new concepts and ideas. For today's post I want to show you all a fit from my recent Cali trip. What I really loved about it is the color combo of brown and black. Like I stated in a previous post, brown is one of the hardest colors to work with in my opinion. With this fit I used black as the combining color. I have to thank Stef for helping me with this fit, too. Two Pisces creatively coming together equals pure magic!
THE LOOK

So like mentioned before, this was a fit I put together while in Cali. When it comes to fits it's usually an in the moment thing for me, unless I have a specific event or occasion to attend. For this look I wanted to tap into my inner tomboy with these baggy pants (which are actually a men's large). I was a little unsure on what route I wanted to go when it came to the top, then Stef recommended I wear the NumberNine sleeveless T; a choice I instantly fell in love with.
Numbernine now consists mainly of archived pieces by Japanese designer Takahiro Miyashita. Miyashita's designs can be described as a mix between pop culture and punk rock.
When it came to shoes we decided the black Docs would add to the black top. I saw the Guitarboy hat and felt it was the perfect accessory to top the fit off (pun intended).

Guitarboy is a black-owned brand by Delawess, with items including hats. jackets, pants and more. If you'd like to see some more pieces from the brand, head to https://www.instagram.com/guitarboyarchive/
So this is pretty much sums of this fit. I love to switch it up and try different looks, this one definitely being in my top 3 fits for the year. Thank you all for tuning in, be back soon with more looks, concepts and some of my fave brands soon...toodles!
