Hey guys, as you know I'm gonna feature some looks of mine that I really loved and dig a lil deeper into why I chose each piece. Today I'm gonna discuss the look below :)
How the Fit Came About
This fit was all based around a neutral brown palette. I forget where exactly I was going this day, but I knew I wanted to find something to wear with the Telfar shirt. I tried the top on with many pants but nothing was really matching the way I'd like. With the creme and camel colored top it was difficult finding pants to match those shades. I didn't wanna wear black or denim because I felt those colors were too harsh for the light color scheme of the top. Even when I tried on these denim pants you see me wearing I wasn't completely sure. But the more I added accessories and the bag it all started to come together.
What I'm Wearing
As you can see this fit doesn't seem like it coordinates, right? Well once I put everything together it all started to blend. The pants shown on the site have wayyy more of an orange hue to them compared to how they came in the mail which actually worked out for this look. They have way more of a brown tint to it which ties in the abstract shapes and colors of the top. The shoes we're definitely the hardest part for me because I don't really own any creme colored or brown shoes (besides my Margielas that I didn't want to wear again and my brown Dr.Martens). I actually had a different shoe on originally then decided at the last minute to put on the AF1. Honestly I wanted a better match to the top and pants but the yellow swoosh and the fact that the sneakers are an off white convinced me to go with these.
I really need some more shoe options to be frank!! (lol) I feel like shoes are the most expensive and the hardest to find because I'm so picky, so I don't have the widest range of options. That's definitely the most needed item in my closet. I also added a necklace from this site called Boho Moon which I really love. It's nothing super fancy but it is affordable and adds detail to an outfit. I wore the cherub one which I lowkey have an obsession with. I always liked cherubs and will most likely get one tatted (I been plotting for a minute now).

Designers/Brands
Top: Telfar (currently $68)
Telfar as a lot of you know has been a trending brand for about 2 months now. It's black owned and most known for the Telfar bags that come in different sizes and colors. For a black owned brand to have this much buzz right now is really amazing. These bags have been selling out like crazy and it's nearly impossible to get one now. The bags start from about $150 and go up from there depending on size. But to speak on the top.. I loveee a cute ass crop top! When I saw this I fell in love with the unique shape and shoulder cutout. I got so many questions and compliments on it, too. It's like if I were to create the ideal crop top it'd be this. They also have another shirt with this similar design that's really nice too(for men and women.) I'll tag below :)
Pants: Jaded London (currently $61)
I discussed this brand in the previous "July's Last Look" post so I'll keep this brief. These pants can be worn for men and women; they have a nice straight fit to them. I like my pants, especially denim not too tight so they're still comfortable to move around in (which these were). These pants also have a matching jacket (for $67) that you can pair with the pants that I'll tag for you all. The full set could be worn with a nice pair of black dress shoes or white air forces, depending on if you want a more dressy look or street styled.

Shoes: Nike AF1 Shadow (currently sold out I believe)
These AF1 I bought are such a pretty shoe. It has all the colors I love, with the pastel green and pinks and blues... super cute! When I got them at Nordstrom's flagship store last year they were $120 I believe. When I recently searched them I only found them on resell sites like StockX. I'm glad I got them while I could!
So that pretty much sums up this look guys! Feel free to comment on this post about how you would style this look. I love to hear you guy's opinions!! As always I'll talk to you all soon, stay fly ladies n gents!
